In April of 2024 the congregation launched a fundraising project to secure the remaining funds of a $500K matching municipal grant. With $74K in the restoration fund, they needed to reach $333,000 by a December 2025 deadline. Seeing that the church has used up all the delay exemptions the hill looked steep. However, by February of 2025 (just a few short months), the congregation had surpassed their goal! Through sacrificial giving, creative fundraising and some unsolicited gifts from outside the church family – Knox had secured their portion of the matching grant ahead of time. God’s faithfulness was again acknowledged and gratitude rang out! Knox continues to press toward a totally restored building by 2033.
