Knox Church was built in 1907 and is a recognized historic resource – read a brief history at the Alberta Register of Historic Places. The current Knox congregation desires to completely restore the building by 2033. Upkeep and restoration of this building is ongoing.

A Project launched in April 2024 surpassed its goal in 8 months largely due to sacrficial giving of a small congregation as well as creative fundraising events. In 2025 Knox was able to access the remaining funds of a matching municipal grant from the City of Edmonton. By February 2026, Knox had completed over $500,000 restoration upgrades. ​​

Roof Replacement for all the sloped sections began at the end of August 2025 and is scheduled to end in February 2026. Some interior plaster repair was also completed. Much of the interior plaster damage was caused by a leaky roof.
